1. About Kynos Dog Training

Kynos Dog Training LLC ("Kynos," "we," "us," or "our") is a professional dog training company operating in Orange County, California. All training services are conducted at Foothill Ranch Community Park, 19422 Rue De Valore, Lake Forest, CA 92630, or at other locations as mutually agreed upon.

2. Services Offered

Kynos currently offers the following services:

• Free Evaluation — a complimentary 30-minute session at Foothill Ranch Community Park to assess your dog and discuss your goals. There is no obligation to purchase any program following the evaluation.
• 6-Week Day Train Program — a structured, six-week training program in which your dog attends daily sessions led personally by Jake Meehan. The program is limited to a maximum of two dogs per day to ensure focused attention.

Kynos reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue services at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled through our online booking system. By completing the booking process, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your dog, including any relevant behavior history.

We require that all dogs attending training be current on core vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus. Proof of vaccination may be requested prior to the start of any program.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Free Evaluation: We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your free evaluation. You may reschedule using the link provided in your confirmation email or by calling 949-344-5441.

Day Train Program: Cancellation and refund terms for the 6-Week Day Train Program will be outlined in your program agreement at the time of enrollment. In general, cancellations made before the program begins are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations after the program begins will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Payment

The free evaluation is complimentary and requires no payment. Payment for the 6-Week Day Train Program is due in full prior to the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing. All payments are processed securely through Square. By submitting payment, you authorize Kynos Dog Training LLC to charge the amount agreed upon for the selected program.

6. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Dog training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to dog bites, scratches, and other injuries to people or animals. By booking any service with Kynos Dog Training, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.

You agree that Kynos Dog Training LLC, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from your participation in any Kynos training program, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

You are responsible for the behavior and control of your dog at all times during training sessions. If your dog poses an immediate danger to Jake, other dogs, or members of the public, Kynos reserves the right to end the session immediately without refund.

7. Disclosure of Dog History

You agree to provide complete and honest information about your dog's history, including any prior incidents of biting, aggression, or dangerous behavior. Failure to disclose known aggressive behavior may result in immediate termination of services without refund and may expose you to liability for any resulting injuries.

8. Health Requirements

Your dog must be in good health to participate in training. If your dog shows signs of illness, injury, or infectious disease, please contact us to reschedule. Kynos reserves the right to refuse service to any dog that appears ill or poses a health risk to other dogs or people.

9. Results Disclaimer

While Kynos Dog Training is committed to delivering high-quality, effective training, we cannot guarantee specific results. Dog training outcomes depend on many factors including the dog's temperament, age, history, and the owner's consistency in reinforcing training at home. We commit to applying our best professional judgment and effort in every session.

10. Photography and Video

Kynos may photograph or video record training sessions for educational and marketing purposes. By booking our services, you grant Kynos Dog Training LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use images or video of your dog for these purposes. If you do not wish your dog to appear in any marketing materials, please notify us in writing at info@kynosdogtraining.com and we will honor your request.

Images and video of clients or owners will not be used without separate explicit written consent.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Kynos Dog Training website, including text, images, graphics, and training methodologies, is the property of Kynos Dog Training LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.

14. Changes to These Terms

Kynos Dog Training reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
